Area firefighters were busy dealing with a reported barn fire in Newark Valley early this morning. The fire was reported around 2am at 544 Wade Hollow Road. Newark Valley firefighters responded to the scene along with tankers from the Owego, Campville, and Weltonville Fire Departments. All units were released three hours later. There is no information on the damage to the building or the cause of the fire.
