Catholic Charities has officially kicked off its 16th annual “Thanks for Giving Turkey Drive.” An RV has been set up outside of the Vestal Walmart where people can donate turkeys and other non-perishable food items. All food donated will then be distributed to families in need throughout our area. Last year, the Catholic Charities collected about 3,500 turkeys. This year, they hope to collect 3,800. The turkey drive runs through this Friday.
