A home was destroyed by a fire early this morning in Chenango County. Around 1:15, the Guilford Fire Department was sent to 459 Keach Road. Three people were living in the home and all three were able to safely escape. Fire investigators say the fire started in the chimney. The flames burned up the side of the building and spread to the roof, causing extensive damage. The house is a total loss.
