A Chenango County man is facing charges after he was caught on a trail camera illegally possessing a gun. 34-year-old David Button was spotted trespassing on a trail camera set up in the Town of Plymouth, where he illegally shot a deer. Button, a convicted felon, is facing charges for trespassing, hunting without a license, and illegally killing protected wildlife. He is also facing a criminal possession of a weapon charge, as convicted felons are not able to possess firearms.
