Governor Cuomo activated the New York State Flood Helpline on Tuesday. New Yorkers can now call the helpline for assistance, including important contact information for the Red Cross and Salvation Army, health and safety tips, what to do in case of a power outage, mental health assistance, and any other recovery needs. You can reach the helpline by dialing 1-888-769-7243. Life threatening emergencies should still be reserved for 911.
