Governor Cuomo is hosting a special tour to bring leading wine industry experts and tourism officials together to promote Finger Lakes wines. The idea is to drive tourism to upstate New York. Glenora Wine Cellars in Dundee is on the list for tastings, as well as Anthony Road Winery in Penn Yan and Lakewood Vineyards in Watkins Glen. Guests will sample wines from Finger Lakes areas, and eat food made from native New York ingredients. The tour was sparked by this year’s New York wine and food classic wine competition. It will end with the presentation of the governor’s cup, recognizing the best of show from more than 800 entries.
