A two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Bradford County left one man dead and another injured. 30-year-old Jason Avery of Shreveport, Louisiana was traveling east on Route 6 in Wyalusing Township when, for reasons unknown, he crossed into the other lane. According to Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda, Avery’s pickup truck collided head-on with a tractor trailer being driven by 36-year-old Corey Cloud of Jennings, Louisiana. Avery was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bradford County Coroner and Cloud suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Towanda Memorial Hospital for treatment. A portion of Route 6 had to be closed Thursday morning as state police were assisted at the scene the Pennsylvania DOT, Wysox and Wyalusing fire departments, and Towanda Memorial EMS.
