An employee at Upstate Shredding was transported to the hospital yesterday afternoon after becoming caught in a chute. The incident occurred at Upstate Shredding’s recycling facility off of Route 38 in Owego. The Campville Fire Department and Emergency Medical Squad were dispatched at roughly 2pm. The condition of the worker is unknown at this time.
