The Village of Endicott is one of three finalists in a state Downtown Revitalization Initiative. The municipality with the best proposal will be awarded $10 million to transform their downtown. Endicott’s proposal would use the money to modernize storefronts, reconstruct sidewalks, and add more green space along Washington Avenue. The village will make their presentation next month. The City of Elmira won the contest last year.
