An Endicott man was taken into custody yesterday and charged with setting fire to a barn on Twist Run Road in the Town of Union last month. 34-year-old Nolan Carlsson is charged with arson, accused of intentionally setting a fire at the barn at 449 Twist Run Road just before 5am on Sunday, May 21. The fire was slowed by neighbors using buckets of water before area fire departments arrived to extinguish the blaze. Carlsson was remanded to the Broome County Jail after arraignment.
