Fire in Endicott requires response of numerous fire departments

Numerous fire departments responded to the scene of a house fire at 1735 Union Center Highway in Endicott last night. The first reports of the fire came in at around 7pm. Investigators say that the homeowner was conducting electrical work on the second story of the home when the fire broke out. Fire crews from Union Center, West Corners, Maine, Endicott, and Newark Valley all responded to the scene. The fire was said to have been knocked out in 20 minutes.
