The Florida man accused of threatening a Sayre Police officer earlier this year has plead ‘No contest’ to two misdemeanor charges. 39-year-old Michael Ames, Jr. of Winter Park Florida is accused of threatening authorities and yelling obscenities at them as they attempted to turn around in a parking lot. A further investigation revealed that Ames showed signs of intoxication. Ames is now scheduled for sentencing on July 25th.
