One of the two men charged in an Ithaca homicide back in December of 2011 has plead guilty.
The Tompkins County District Attorney says that Gary Lowe has plead guilty to first degree manslaughter. Lowe and co-defendant Lawrence Beauford were arrested in a drug related robbery and shooting death of 25-year-old Francisco Santiago. Lowe agreed to a plea deal of 15-years in prison. The DA’s office said Beauford is expected to plead guilty to conspiracy. That carries a maximum of four years in prison. Beauford will be in court on Tuesday.
