A former Endicott middle school is getting a major facelift, and a new lease on life now that the weather is finally starting to turn. Demolition began yesterday morning on the former Henry B. Endicott Middle school. Current owners purchased the school from BOCES last year and plan to turn it into an innovation center that will be home to about two dozen new businesses. Some of the renovations include new ceilings, lighting, carpeting as well as new signage on the outside of the building. In total, owners say they’ll be investing millions back into the historic building to get it ready for its new tenants. Crews say demolition will take about a week. They expect the new innovation center to be completed this fall.
