Shortly after 12 AM on July 4th, Police were called to the Cayuga Medical Center, where a 25 year-old Ithaca man was being treated for head, neck, and torso injuries, after he was allegedly assaulted by three men, armed with a baseball bat. The incident took place on Chestnut Street in Ithaca, the Ithaca Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
