A man that was hit by a car late last week in Ithaca has been listed in critical condition according to police. The man was hit while crossing Ellis Hollow Road, by the East Hill Plaza Burger King near Cornell University. Paramedics drove the victim by ambulance to University Hospital in Syracuse, because weather prevented a helicopter transport at the time. Police have not yet released the man’s name. Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking witnesses to call 257-1345 to provide more information for the investigation.
