A person is sent to the hospital after crashing the truck they were driving into a house in Ithaca.
Officials with the Ithaca Fire Department say it happened Saturday morning. They say the driver turned off of Hudson Street and onto Aurora Street but did not complete the turn. The truck hit a house on South Aurora Street; the truck and house were both severely damaged. The driver was taken to Robert Packer Hospital to be treated for injuries. The City of Ithaca Building Department was called in to work on the property and make sure the structure was okay. The cause of the crash still remains under investigation.
