The body found Tuesday in the town of Pharsalia has been identified as 36-year-old Jennifer Ramsaran. The Chenango County Sheriff’s office notified the family Thursday afternoon. The body was found off Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia.
The medical examiner says the woman was found naked, and that it appeared her body had rolled down a small embankment on private property off Center Road. The medical examiner said there were no visible signs of trauma, and there were no personal belongings found near her. Investigators say the body was likely hidden by snow drifts until they finally melted.
The woman was missing since she left for a shopping trip to Syracuse on December 11th.
