Towanda Police are working to find the culprit in a string of vehicle robberies recently. Friday night and early Saturday morning, multiple unlocked vehicles along William, North Main, Watts, and North Fourth streets in Towanda had various items stolen from them. Cash was stolen from most vehicles, but other items, such as cigarettes, were also taken. Anyone who has any information or has seen suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Towanda Police at 570-265-2522. Police advise anyone to not leave valuable items in your vehicle, and also keep your vehicle locked.
