Smokers will now have to put out their cigarettes if they want to enjoy the great outdoors in a state park. Governor Cuomo announced the state is expanding the number of smoke free areas at state parks, pools, historic sites, and beaches. The governor said residents should be able to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about pollution or secondhand smoke. Since the new restrictions will vary from park to park, the state has posted a list of the new rules on its parks website.
