Republicans in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives say that the Athens and Sayre School districts will see a decrease in state funding due to Governor Tom Wolf’s veto of the state’s fiscal code bill. Between the two school districts in Bradford County, there will be reduction of $125,000 in state aid. The reduction in state aid comes primarily from a reduction in State Grant funding.
