Pennsylvania lawmakers passed their 2016-2017 revenue package last night, which has also since been signed into law by Governor Tom Wolf. The upcoming revenue package was passed nearly 9 months sooner than it was last year.

Some of the key points of the package include increased money for public education, more money to address state health concerns, such as addictions to heroin and opioids, and the allocation of money to train three new classes of state police cadets.
