The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery of a taxi cab driver in Ithaca. They said it happened around 11:30 pm Saturday on Graham Road. A cab driver employed by Cayuga Taxi told sheriff’s deputies he had arrived to pick up a fare, and a man got into the cab, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The robber then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He’s described as about six feet, white, weighing about 200 pounds. The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact them.
