A man is being questioned after a fire in the Town of Dix. According to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department, detectives wanted to speak with 26-year-old Jonathan Wallenback of Beaver Dams after a fire caused severe burns on a 26-year-old woman, about two weeks ago. Deputies say there was a suspected meth lab at his residence. Wallenbeck is being held on a probation violation but investigators say more charges are pending in the case.
