NYSEG has worked to restore power outages of its own, and in the Ithaca area they are expecting all power to be restored by midnight. Tuesday’s storms resulted in NYSEG’s Ithaca Division having 17,600 outages. That number was reduced to under 1,500 by today, and should be back to zero tonight. The Ithaca NYSEG service center on Dryden Road is offering dry ice and bottled water to any customers in need until their supplies are exhausted.
