Racker Centers is hosting a letter writing campaign today addressing the staffing crisis in programs for people with disabilities. You can stop and pick up a letter to Gov. Cuomo today at Racker Center locations in Owego, Ithaca, and Cortland. Letters are also available on the agency’s website. The Racker Centers are partnering with other non-profit agencies around the state for today’s initiative. They say the state has failed to make a significant adjustment in wages for eight years for the staff that support people with disabilities.
