There was an outpouring of support for Jennifer Ramsaran and her family at the courthouse Tuesday morning. Jennifer Ramsaran’s family and friends were joined by community members at the Chenango County Courthouse Tuesday to watch the arraignment of Ganesh “Remy” Ramsaran, Jennifer’s husband. Many wore the color blue and handed out “Justice for Jennifer” ribbons. Ganesh is accused of killing his wife, Jennifer. She disappeared on December 11th and her body was found off of Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia in late February. Ganesh pleaded not guilty to second degree murder. Inside the courtroom, he kept his head low and fought back tears. Ganesh’s bail was reset at $500,000 cash or $1 million real property bond because the judge was concerned he might try to leave the country. He was handcuffed and taken back to the Chenango County Correctional Facility where he’ll stay, unless he can post bail.
