After concerns of a lack of state funding delayed the process late last year, the Sayre Area School District has awarded two contracts for summer renovations. The Sayre Area Board of Education voted to award a contract to replace four school boilers to Schoonover Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Canton. The district also awarded a contract for asbestos abatement in district buildings to Prism Response Inc. of Drum, Pennsylvania.
