The Sayre Christian Church kicked off its summer concert series to help increase food donations for pantries in our area. The Sayre Christian Church started this year’s series with headlining act, “Waverly’s Copper Coins.” Concerts are expected to continue throughout the summer, leading up to the church’s fall festival which is tentatively scheduled for September 17th. The concerts are free, however, attendees are encouraged to bring a food donation. Last year, the Sayre Christian Church was able to package 10,000 meals thanks to food donations collect through their summer concert series and fall festival.
