Police are investigating a shooting in Elmira that injured one person. Elmira Police were called to a home in the 900 block of Sullivan Street after a report of shots fired, and at the same time were dispatched to Grand Central Avenue for a report of a person who had been shot. The victim was found and taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A SWAT team entered the home on Sullivan Street and several people in the home were interviewed in connection with the incident, and one additional person was found injured in the home.
