SRAC Hosts Athens Third Graders

About 100 Athens third graders made a trip to the Susquehanna River Archeological Center in Sayre. The group learned about fossils and Native Americans in the area through presentations by two former Athens teachers, Sig Wilkinson and Ted Keir, an SRAC co-founder.

The students were able to visit the museum and browse the artifacts. The SRAC at 345 Broad Street in Waverly offers field trips at no cost to local schools.
