Fresh off their job fairs last week, Tioga Downs is planning two career-building events, beginning with an event Friday for those interested in becoming security guards. New York State Security Guard Training will be held Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm at the former Nichols Elementary School. The training costs $100, but that fee will be reimbursed after three months of employment as a security guard at Tioga Downs. Those interested in participating should contact John Mele by email at [email protected]. The next free dealer training program will begin in late April or early May.
