A Towanda woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 414 in Franklin Township. 46-year-old Hila Strope was traveling east just before 12:30 Thursday afternoon when she lost control along a left turn and went off the road. As she corrected the car back onto the road, Strope’s vehicle was hit by a truck traveling westbound. Strope was pronounced dead at the scene by the Assistant Bradford County Coroner. State Police say no charges are being filed.
