Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to the shooting which left an 11-year-old boy injured in Johnson City on Tuesday. Police have arrested a 16-year-old and 17-year-old, both of whom were charged with first degree assault. The 16-year-old also received a charge of criminal possession of a weapon. The shooting occurred in the area of 7 North Broad Street at around 10:30pm on Tuesday. Authorities say that the two teenage suspects seem to know each other and do not believe the shooting was random. The two teenagers have since been sent to the Broome County Jail to await further court proceedings.
