A Wellsboro CVS store was robbed Monday and police are still looking for the thief. Around 3:15 Monday afternoon at the CVS in the Tops Plaza on Main Street in Wellsboro, a Hispanic man believed to be in his mid-20’s handed the clerk a note demanding prescription medication. He was described as six feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a trapper style hat and a green Carhartt jacket. The suspect fled on foot and is still at large. Anyone with information is urged to call the Wellsboro police department at (570) 724-4400.
