A wind chill advisory will be in effect for our area from 6 o’clock tonight through 9 o’clock Friday morning. Wind chill readings could reach as low as 13 to 23 degrees below zero, as winds will reach 10 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour. The winds are expected to diminish slightly tonight heading into the morning. The wind chill is expected to be cold enough to cause frostbite in thirty minutes or less. Anyone spending time outdoors should dress appropriately and make sure that all exposed skin is covered.
