A winter storm warning is in effect for our entire listening area from 1pm Monday until 1pm Tuesday. The National Weather Service says heavy, wet snow will move into our area this afternoon and continue through tomorrow morning. A total of 4-9 inches is possible, especially across higher terrain. Strong winds are also possible with gusts near 30 miles per hour. The weather will begin as rain today before temperatures fall and it changes over to sleet and then snow in the late afternoon and early evening. We will continue to follow this storm and keep you updated. WEBO is the official emergency station for Tioga County.
