A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Broome and Tioga Counties through 10am today. The National Weather Service says a wintry mix of freezing rain will continue to fall across the area, leaving a thin ice coating on roadways and other surfaces. It is expected to change to all rain as temperatures rise into the 40s. Besides Broome and Tioga, the Advisory is also in effect for Cortland, Chenango, Madison, and Onondaga Counties. The advisory has led some local school districts to start with a delay or close today. The full list is available on the WEBO Facebook Page.
