An investigation Friday led police to a home they suspected was a meth lab in the village of Greene. The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, Village of Greene Police Department and New York State Police responded to a home at 87 South Chenango St. Police entered the home and secured the meth, as well as all items used to make the drug. The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carmine Pezzino for unlawful manufacturing of the drug. He was arraigned in the Village of Greene Court and taken to the Chenango County Correctional Facility without bail. All other occupants of the residence were charged with loitering in the first degree and released on appearance tickets. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
