More than 2,500 people participated in the 2015 Southern Tier Heart Walk at SUNY Broome yesterday. The walk raised $220,000 for the American Heart Association to fight heart disease and stroke,. The money will fund research, education, training and advocacy programs. Before the walk, blood pressure screenings and health demonstrations were held on the campus.
