The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has recovered Carri Michalski, 39, from the Chenango River.
A family member of Michalski was walking below the 12A bridge and alerted the Sheriff that they had discovered a body in the water beneath some debris.
This was right in the area near where the crash happened.
Back on May 20th, an SUV driven by Jaclyn Wesley, 23, hit a guardrail on Interstate-88 and landed in the river.
Wesley made it out alive, but her three passengers didn’t survive.
Two of their bodies were recovered, but authorities have been looking for Michalski since that time.
