Senator Fred Akshar talked with us on the WEBO Morning Show today. He has been meeting with elected officials and continuing to work with regional boards and councils to hear the concerns of the 52nd Senate District. Yesterday, the Senator sat down with Rebuild New York Now to discuss ways to ensure that Upstate New York infrastructure receives equal attention as downstate roads and bridges from Albany. Today, Akshar is meeting with Johnson City Mayor Greg Deemie to learn more about current projects underway. In addition, Akshar has also met with several other local leaders and organizations, including Binghamton City Mayor Rich David the day after he was elected, as well as the Tioga County Economic Development Board. The State Senate will begin their next legislative session in January.
