The Aaron Powell court case continued yesterday with evidence presented by the prosecution. According to phone records, Powell’s phone received two phone calls in the early hours of March 22, 2013 from his sister. Through phone-tracking technology, investigators have found that Powell’s cell phone was within 200 yards of the crime scene that night. A witness was called to testify in front of jurors yesterday as well. Lonney Johnson, was called on behalf of the defense. In his testimony, Johnson stated that he helped move Powell out of the residence where the crime took place prior to the crimes, and he did not recall moving a black baseball bat, like the one found to be in connection with the crime.
