Two alleged gang members and associates of the Binghamton-area Bloods gang known as the MacBallers have pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking conspiracy charges. 35-year-old Sharell Holton and 32-year-old Courtney Douglas were among the 14 alleged gang members arrested back in March following a lengthy investigation by police. Holton and Douglas are accused of distributing a large amount of crack cocaine, cocaine, and heroin in Binghamton since 2009. They are the first defendants to plead guilty in connection with the case. Douglas has no permanent address and Holton is an Endicott resident. The drug trafficking conspiracy charges are punishable by a minimum of ten years in federal prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
