The Binghamton Mets will be hosting close to 300 Challenger League players at their home game at NYSEG Stadium on Friday night. Challenger League players will be able to personally meet the B-Mets players and get autographs, and they will also be lining the first baseline during the National Anthem. The Challenger Little League of the Southern Tier is a baseball program for children and youth with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities in both the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania. The groups’ members range from ages 6 to 21. The group also has an adult league. The Binghamton Mets have hosted the Challengers League and its players several times in past years.
