United States Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney on Wednesday announced a grant totaling more than $1 million for the Greater Binghamton Airport.Part of the money will go toward upgrading equipment, while more than $700,000 will go toward developing a master plan for the airport. Delta Airlines is currently the only airline provider at the airport. Director of Aviation David Hickling said in order to grow business, it would be more likely that Delta will add flights rather than the airport agreeing to terms with another provider.
