A Binghamton man has been charged with robbery after losing his ID. 33-year-old Saquan Thompson is said to have robbed a taxi driver by placing his arm around the driver’s neck and threatening him with a knife. Thompson fled on foot with the cash. Authorities searched the area and found a discarded jacket matching the description of one the suspect was wearing. Inside one of the jacket pockets, authorities found Thompson’s ID. Thompson was later apprehended and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
