A Binghamton man is facing charges after police say he stole 8,000 pounds of scrap metal from a local business. 20-year-old Dustin Tran is facing a felony count of grand larceny, after he allegedly stole $15,000 in scrap metal over the course of several weeks from a business in the Town of Conklin. The owner of the missing metals was able to find some of his property at a scrap yard, and while deputies were investigating at the yard, Tran pulled in with more scrap he had stolen from the business. He was arrested and arraigned in Binghamton City Court.
