A Binghamton man is facing charges after police say he stole 8,000 pounds of scrap metal from a local business. 20-year-old Dustin Tran is facing a felony count of grand larceny, after he allegedly stole $15,000 in scrap metal over the course of several weeks from a business in the Town of Conklin. The owner of the missing metals was able to find some of his property at a scrap yard, and while deputies were investigating at the yard, Tran pulled in with more scrap he had stolen from the business.
