The weather may not have been great Saturday, but that didn’t stop Republican Mayoral Candidate Ed Hickey from hosting a meet and greet event in Binghamton. Hickey and his family talked about his platform and held a voter registration drive at Cheri Lindsey Park. He said he plans to focus on small business growth, youth development and using the arts to improve the quality of life. The candidate said his own family is motivation for his campaign. Hickey is running against current Binghamton City Councilwoman Terri Renia.
